CHALET UPDATES :D


HELLO PEOPLE! :D

firstly i'm really sorry about the booking of venue and dates for chalet.
as our dear grace helped us check the availabilities for the various dates and venues, it turns out that mostly are already booked and unavailable already! ):
so if we really want to have a holqa chalet our only alternative left is 7th - 9th june at costa sands resort downtown east.
please thank grace's parents for helping us out once again for the booking of chalet!

now it's time to start forming the various commitees we need for the planning of the chalet! :D
since some of our GLs will be running for the various clubs and societies, i hope freshies can offer your help kay! :D
sooooo if you're interested in helping please email me your name and contact number and email and the commitee you wish to be in :D

the various commitee to be formed will be:
1) PROGRAMME
2) FOODMIN
3) LOGISTICS
here is a brief explanation for the job scope of the following commitees.

PROGRAMME :D
you will be the ones bringing the stuff we can play for chalet! :D
example, if you have uno cards or twister you can just bring them! :D
of course we need mahjong tiles too!
no need to have a programme list!
what we need is suggestions for things we can do during the three days two nights.
also if you want, we can have a theme for the chalet! :D
for the GL holqa chalet, the theme was colourful!
so everyone was suppose to wear colours on the chalet bbq. :D
some suggestions for theme can be slumber party or halloween! :D
do note that these are just suggestions so people in the commitee you are not obliged to use these suggestions :D

FOODMIN :D
of course you are the ones to get the food! :D
you are to do the ordering and if there is any pre-preparation stuff to do you will have to come to the chalet earlier to prepare the food kay :D
also not to forget we need plenty of drinks!

LOGISTICS :D
i know it's weird to have a log comm but there is a need for it! :D
this people shall be in charge of things like the charcoal, tongs, utensils and trash bags!
this is because i would want to lighten the load for people doing food.
however, log comm will have to work with all other comms to ensure nothing is short of during the chalet :D

i will have another main comm and i will approach people for this. :D
main comm will be in charge of collecting money and comfirming attendance for the chalet.
we will also be in charge of any other matters to be taken care of! :D

soooo lets start planning for our chalet and enjoy ourselves! :D
